163's Books of the Month: May 2025

Squirrel Book

A humorous and captivating picture book about spring and the changing of the seasons, brought to you by your favorite hysterical squirrel.

Spring is here, and Squirrel is quite happy now that his leaves are back. But what’s this? A beautiful flower has bloomed – and everyone keeps trying to take it! Squirrel must defend his flower… or will he learn to share? A delightfully funny story about spring that helps explain the changing of the seasons.

Cinco

Marco loves the food, parades, and fun of Cinco de Mayo. This year he’s one of the dancers. As he listens to the mariachi music, Marco thinks of the brave Mexicans at the first Cinco de Mayo. Find out the different things people do to celebrate this holiday!
